Jessica wants to take over Arthur's shift
A shift swap can be initiated in two ways. Either an employee can request to take a colleague’s shift, or an employee can ask a colleague to take their shift. The colleague must then accept the swap.
Arthur needs to approve the shift swap
As soon as a shift swap is initiated, both parties must approve it. When an employee requests a swap with a colleague, the colleague needs to approve the swap. If admin approval is not enabled, the shift swap is completed as soon as the requested colleague accepts. The changes are instantly visible on all devices.
Admin can reject or approve the shift swap
Sometimes, having full control is necessary. If admin approval is enabled, you, as the admin, will be notified when a shift swap needs approval. With a single click, you can approve or reject the swap.
Jessica now has the shift
Once a shift swap is approved by an administrator, it is finalized. The changes are immediately visible on all devices.
